Before founding Pierce Ridge Capital, Shamus spent 25 years on Wall Street in the Wealth Management divisions of Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. He was repeatedly named to On Wall Street magazine’s Top 100 Branch Managers list and held leadership roles at two of the industry’s most respected firms. Throughout his career, Shamus specialized in supporting Financial Advisors who served High Net Worth individuals and corporate clients, aligning firm resources to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions. His deep experience in both leadership and client engagement now drives the mission of Pierce Ridge Capital—helping business owners unlock liquidity and plan their next chapter.

Rich is the Founding Partner & COO of Pierce Ridge Capital, bringing a background in digital marketing, software, and EdTech. Known for building brands, leading high-performing teams, and driving growth, he’s helped businesses scale and prepare for successful exits. Rich also advises startups and mentors entrepreneurs through Fairfield University’s StartUp Program. When he’s not working, you’ll find him cycling, running, or hiking toward his next personal best.

Eric Kristiansen is the Founding Partner & CMO of Pierce Ridge Capital, bringing over a decade of experience in digital marketing, branding, and business growth strategy. He has consulted for multiple reputable companies across various industries, helping them drive revenue through paid media, SEO, content, and brand development.
